Nagoya Asian Bistro

Food was excellent as usual. This was our 3rd time in 2 months. Despite making a reservation both of the last 2 times, they couldn't find it and then we were told that they "don't take reservations". Last time we didn't have to wait, but this time it was rather crowded at the entrance. Although there were tables for all 4 parties to be seated (and we had made a reservation) we had to wait while the hostess was unsure of what to do and was waiting for assistance. 1 party decided to leave, because they had been waiting too long. Service needs to be improved. We will return, because we love the food.

They ALWAYS have the most fresh fish! I prefer to go there than ANYWHERE else! And they like to treat you to extra things, on the house. The chefs love to express their skills and I think it's beautiful! It truly s a form of art. I never had "small tuna" before I ate there and it melts in your mouth! I recently went 30 minutes before lunch was over and they created this gorgeous avocado ball filled with a delicious crab meat mix....with crunches on top. Oh my! I HIGHLY recommend Nagoya! Matter of fact, my mouth is watering writing this so I'm gonna go there now! ENJOY!

When I lived in Prince Frederick we would always come here. Personally my favorite part of this experience was the warm face towels you get before you order. They have a solid selection of sushi and Japanese cuisine. I always ordered sushi here. It was never over crowded. Always enjoyable. They have dine in and take out options. I also remember when this spot used to be an Arby's!

Was there at 3:30, restaurant nearly empty with about like four or five tables filled, we were out by 3:55. I’ve been there multiple times before and the experience is typically an hour and a half in total. Was basically only there for 20 minutes. Waitress constantly rushed the three of us, asked what we wanted to eat before asking what we wanted to drink. When we told her we needed more time, she gave us like two minutes before coming back. Asked three times in a seven minute interval if we were ready to order. Food came out within five minutes of us ordering which is completely abnormal for this restaurant, as it typically takes a while. Steamed Gyoza did not look as it normally does- definitely something off about them. My sushi was not prepped correctly, as there were still scales on my fish. The shrimp tempura did not get cooked like it normally does as it was cold on my friend’s plate upon arrival. No one came into the restaurant after us, and the groups at the tables before we got there were still enjoying their meals when we left. We all left feeling extremely hungry (not normal for us) and within a few hours, we were throwing up, feeling dizzy, and got chills. I used to love going there, but I don’t think I ever will again. I still feel sick and I’m writing this at midnight.

We only had the sushi. The fish was fresh. A good tell was the Uni which still tasted like the sea. The place gets busy pretty quickly. Service was prompt and courteous. It is not an upscale place, but 5 rolls for $52 is not bad. I don't know if I would pay full price for a single roll. The place is minimal black/white decor but dated looking. Conversation was easy as it was not loud even though no tables were available. Not exceptional sushi, but better than expected. The rice did not stand out as rolls had a lot of toppings. I would go back though.
